Qualified staff

Little Steps Montessori Nursery School continues to employ staff with many years' experience as well as appropriate qualifications. All the staff are DBS checked and are caring and committed to the welfare and care of children. They understand the importance of children being happy and confident in their surroundings.

The Ken Hogan Pavilion has a bright airy room with floor to ceiling windows at both ends of the room allowing children to look out over the playing fields and surrounding countryside. The room is divided into areas to promote different learning opportunities. It has two outdoor learning areas where children benefit hugely from a variety of activities including, gardening, woodwork, large construction, sand-pit, numeracy games and problem-solving.

Little Steps is an exceptional nursery that has built my daughter's confidence and helped her blossom into an active and sociable little girl. She loves her days at the nursery, and seems to be learning, almost by osmosis! I was extremely surprised when she asked me 'am I human?' and bowled over when she pointed out numbers and letters that she knew on the cereal box. I am absolutely confident that she will be prepared for going to school in September, and indeed sad that she will be leaving. Luckily I have another daughter that will be starting soon instead!

I highly recommend little steps. The setting is amazing and the staff are lovely. Both of my children loved their time there and still talk about 'Brenda and Sue' (children now 9 and 5). They are both doing very well at school - so thank you Little Steps for giving them the best start in their educational journey. Shame they had to grow up and move on, we all miss you.

We couldn't have asked for more for our 3 children! A fantastic nuturing setting providing excellent care with a focus on personal, educational and social development with a cuddle when needed. Brenda and Sue are still often remembered by our children the eldest of whom is now 10! You gave our children the best start and we couldn't recommend Little Steps enough!
